1. Scope and developer
This Privacy Policy applies to the Sudoku Paint Android game (package com.devvooooor.sudokupaint), published by devvooooor under Chillbaba Games, and to the Sudoku Paint web version. It explains how the current release handles information when you install, visit, or play the game.
2. Information stored on your device
Sudoku Paint stores game information locally so it can remember your progress. This may include Sudoku values and pencil notes, undo history, elapsed time, personal bests, completion and Daily history, settings, the Android hint allowance, and rewarded-hint uses.
A separate playtest report can retain up to 250 puzzle-attempt summaries, including puzzle identifier, difficulty, duration, completion, mistakes, hints, restarts, and other puzzle actions. The report contains no Sudoku Paint account or device identifier, is not uploaded automatically, and leaves the device only if you explicitly export or share it.
Sudoku Paint does not operate a game backend or cloud-save service. Local game information is not sent to a Sudoku Paint server. The app uses its own application identity and storage keys and does not read, migrate, overwrite, or share Shikaku Paint progress, preferences, ad allowance, or purchases.
3. Advertising and privacy choices on Android
The free Android version can show Google AdMob banners on menu and browser screens, frequency-capped interstitials between puzzles, and rewarded ads that you explicitly choose to watch for additional hints. Before requesting ads, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request or apply the privacy choices required for your region. When required, you can reopen those choices from the app's Privacy options control.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share an IP address, approximate location inferred from the IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers for advertising or marketing, analytics or measurement, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. The exact ads available can depend on your region and privacy choices. Google encrypts this information in transit and handles it under the Google Privacy Policy.
When Google Play reports an active Lifetime Premium or Monthly Supporter entitlement, Sudoku Paint does not request banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads.
4. Premium purchases and subscriptions
Android offers an optional one-time Lifetime Premium purchase and an optional auto-renewing Monthly Supporter subscription. Both remove ads, provide unlimited hints, and unlock four additional visual themes. Every included Sudoku puzzle and painting remains available without a purchase.
Google Play processes purchases, subscriptions, localized product information, billing records, restoration, and cancellation. Sudoku Paint receives product information and purchase history or ownership state needed to provide the purchased app functionality. It does not receive payment-card details or send purchase information to a Sudoku Paint server.
Monthly Supporter renews until cancelled. You can restore purchases in the app and manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play.
5. Sharing and exports
The Share result and Share playtest report controls open your device's share interface only when you choose them. A playtest report can also be saved as a JSON or CSV file. You decide whether to export it and which application or person receives it.
6. Retention and deletion
The in-app Playtest report screen can delete its report without changing game progress. Clearing Sudoku Paint's app or site storage, or uninstalling the Android app, removes locally stored game information. Because there is no Sudoku Paint account or developer server, there is no remote Sudoku Paint profile to delete.
Google retains advertising and purchase information according to its own policies and provides controls through your Google account, Google Play, Android settings, and any regional consent choices shown by the app. If you email support, you may ask us to delete the support conversation unless we must keep it for a legitimate legal or security reason.
7. Network and offline use
The web version downloads application files and paintings from its host. Previously visited paintings may be retained in a Sudoku Paint-specific offline cache. The Android version bundles included puzzles and paintings for offline play, but a network connection is needed for ads, current consent information, purchases, restoration, and subscription management. An unavailable ad does not prevent normal puzzle play.
8. This website and Cloudflare
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not contain analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. It is hosted using Cloudflare. Like other web hosts and security providers, Cloudflare may process ordinary web request information—such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals—to deliver and protect the site.
Website hosting is separate from the Sudoku Paint app's local game data. For information about Cloudflare's practices, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
9. Younger players
Sudoku Paint is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Younger players should ask a parent or guardian before sending an email to support, particularly where local law requires parental consent.
If you believe a child included personal information in a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. Security
Google service traffic described above is encrypted in transit. Local game information is protected primarily by Android, your browser, and your device security settings. Keep your device and operating system up to date and use an appropriate screen lock.
11. Policy changes
We may update this policy if Sudoku Paint or its service providers change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page, and material data-practice changes will be reflected in the app and Google Play disclosures as required.
